Executive Summary:
Senior’s and Disadvantaged Housing Needs
proposed by the
Tillsonburg, Ontario Senior Housing Committee

According to Statistics Canada Census 2001, 27% of Tillsonburg’s  population were over 60, and 11.2% were between 50 and 60.  We have approximately 2,215 females and 1,565 males over 60.

We have a critical need for:

• Affordable Housing for Seniors
• Housing for the Working Poor
• Emergency Housing for women & children in abused situations.

This proposal addresses all three important needs.
